Senior Business Operations Specialist
Location: Remote / Hybrid (Bangalore, KA)

Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Senior Business Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence across our workforce management, client delivery, internal processes, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives.
This role is responsible for identifying inefficiencies, designing scalable processes, managing operational projects, developing performance metrics, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills.
The Senior Business Operations Specialist will serve as a key partner to leadership by translating business goals into operational strategies and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Business Operations & Process Improvement
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and standardization.
- Design, document, and implement operational procedures and SOPs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across hiring, onboarding, workforce management, payroll, client support, and reporting functions.
- Develop scalable operational frameworks to support business growth.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional operational projects from planning through execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
Performance Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Analyze business performance trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor operational metrics related to staffing, client satisfaction, productivity, utilization, revenue, and profitability.
- Present findings and insights to leadership teams.
Workforce & Client Operations
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational forecasting.
- Collaborate with recruitment, HR, finance, and client management teams.
- Monitor service delivery quality and operational compliance.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks impacting clients or internal teams.
Systems & Technology
- Evaluate and improve business systems and operational tools.
- Support implementation of CRM, ERP, ATS, workforce management, and reporting platforms.
- Partner with technology teams to define requirements and improve system workflows.
- Assist in data governance and process automation initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives
- Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reviews.
- Conduct business analysis to support new programs, services, and market expansion opportunities.
- Prepare executive presentations, reports, and recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leadership.
- Analyze business performance trends and provide actionable recommendations.
- Monitor operational metrics related to staffing, client satisfaction, productivity, utilization, revenue, and profitability.
- Present findings and insights to leadership teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, operations management, project management, consulting, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, and business reports.
- Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in staffing, workforce management, professional services, consulting, BPO, or operations-heavy organizations.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Experience with CRM and workflow automation systems.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or business operations certifications preferred.
