Overview
How you'll make an impact
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain operational control frameworks and procedures
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of existing controls to ensure their effectiveness and efficiency
- Identify control gaps and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential operational risks within the retail business segment
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and control effectiveness to senior management
- Analyse business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency
- Track and measure the impact of process improvements on operational performance
- Prepare and present regular reports on control activities, risk assessments, and compliance status to senior management
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of any control deficiencies or compliance issues
About you
Qualifications:
Education: Degree- Bachelor Master
Licenses/Certificates: Insurance Certification will be the additional advantage
Work Experience:
- Graduate with minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in an Insurance domain
- Experience in P&C; - Policy Issuance/Underwriting would be preferred
- Insurance certification - good to have
- Transition/onboarding of service - good to haveOnshore travel experience - good to have
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Insurance domain knowledge
- Excellent Written and Oral communication skills
- Proficiency in creating, formatting, and managing documents, spreadsheets, and databases using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Interpersonal skills
- Ownership and Accountability
- Ability to think critically and make sound judgments based on the evidence presented.
- Understanding of best practices in business processes and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality and compliance objectives.
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills to enhance audit effectiveness.
