About Perpetuity AI

Perpetuity AI is building AI software for institutional commercial real estate investment managers. Our platform automates institutional asset management workflows and serves as a centralized intelligence platform designed to identify risks and maximize the value of real estate investment portfolios.

The role

You will own the architecture of our SaaS platform and lead its next phase of growth. You'll work across the full stack to optimize and extend existing capabilities, deliver new features, and scale the data, integration, and AI layers. You'll work closely with our US-based leadership team to turn complex domain problems into software that institutional investment teams trust.

What you'll do

- Own the platform architecture as it scales: application design, performance, security, and infrastructure.
- Optimize, refactor, and extend existing functionality, and deliver new features end to end, from the frontend interface through the backend services and APIs.
- Evolve the data architecture that unifies asset-level financials from many sources into a clean, reconcilable model. Build and maintain integrations with leading real estate accounting and property management systems.
- Build AI agents and automated workflows for financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling use cases.
- Improve and expand AI capabilities for document parsing and extraction, and for custom dashboards and reporting.
- Raise the bar on engineering practices, including code quality, testing, observability, and deployment.

What you bring (required)

- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with real depth in both frontend and backend.
- Production experience building data-heavy financial, accounting,



or real estate systems where numbers have to tie out.
- AI/LLM features you have shipped to real users, such as document extraction, RAG, structured output, or evaluation frameworks.
- Experience designing agentic AI systems or multi-step LLM workflows in production (tool use, orchestration, evaluation), ideally applied to quantitative or financial analysis.
- Experience integrating with third-party enterprise systems through APIs, file-based exports, or ETL, and designing data models that bring those sources together.
- A track record of improving and scaling existing production systems, not only building new ones.
- Sound judgment about security and sensitive financial data.
- Excellent written and spoken English, and experience working directly with US-based teams or clients.
- Ability to work with a regular daily overlap of 2+ hours with US Eastern/Mountain time.

Strongly preferred

- Experience with institutional commercial real estate: asset management, fund or property accounting, or investor reporting for REITs, private equity real estate funds, or institutional advisors. Our users are institutional investment managers; experience limited to residential or consumer real estate platforms is not a strong match.
- Fluency in CRE financials: rent rolls, T-12s, operating statements, NOI, CAM reconciliations, budgets vs. actuals, debt covenants, waterfalls.
- Familiarity with financial modeling: DCF, cash-flow projections, underwriting models, or forecasting methods.
- Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager, MRI, Entrata, RealPage, Juniper Square, ARGUS, or similar systems.
- Comfort with high ownership and ambiguity in a rapid-moving environment.
