We are looking for an experienced and target-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to handle student enquiries, provide effective course counselling, manage leads, and drive admissions for our competitive exam coaching programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, walk-ins and other channels.
- Understand students' career goals and recommend suitable competitive exam courses.
- Explain course details, fees, batch schedules, study materials and admission procedures clearly.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert qualified leads into admissions.
- Handle objections and provide appropriate solutions to students and parents.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and ensure no potential lead is missed.
- Manage and update lead details, follow-up status and conversions in CRM.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly admission/conversion targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Monitor lead conversion performance and provide feedback on lead quality.
- Support promotional activities, admission campaigns and student outreach activities.
- Guide and support junior counsellors when required.
Requirements
- Any Graduate/Postgraduate.
- 2+ years of experience in admission counselling, education sales, EdTech, telesales or a similar role.
- Experience in competitive exam coaching or the education industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid counselling, persuasion, negotiation and objection-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Confident, proactive and result-oriented approach.
