Job Summary

We are looking for a Financial Controller (Senior Retail Accountant) to oversee our financial health. You will manage everything from daily POS reconciliations to long-term financial forecasting and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities & Performance Areas

1. Financial Record Keeping & Reporting

- Maintain up-to-date Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Reconcile daily sales, returns, and inventory transactions across multiple retail channels.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and performance summaries for executive management.

1. Inventory & Expense Management

- Monitor inventory turnover rates and assess the value of on-hand stock.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and develop action plans for liquidation or discounting.
- Review expense reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

1. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Analysis





- Analyze sales trends and gross margins to provide strategic business insights.
- Develop annual budgets and monthly financial forecasts specifically for the fashion retail cycle.
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance to ensure strict cost control.

1. Compliance, Audit, and Cash Management

- Ensure compliance with retail accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Manage daily cash flow, banking relationships, and optimize the company's cash position.
- Coordinate external financial audits and ensure data accuracy.

Candidate Requirements (Qualifications)
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in Retail Finance, Accounting, or a similar domain.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
