About the Job

AVA Insights Partners is looking for a Senior Account Executive – Shared Services to manage end-to-end accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting and statutory compliance activities for multiple clients/entities.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on accounting experience and preferably come from a CA Firm, Shared Services, Accounting Outsourcing or Professional Services environment, with exposure to multiple clients and/or regions.

This role requires a highly self-driven, disciplined and accountable professional who can independently manage deliverables, work under pressure and consistently meet timelines and client commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients/entities.

Handle accruals, provisions, prepayments, reconciliations and journal entries.

Independently manage month-end and year-end closing activities.

Prepare/review financial statements, schedules and MIS reports.

Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliances.

Coordinate with auditors, clients, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Manage client queries, follow-ups and accounting-related issues.

Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Review accounting work and support quality control.

Guide and supervise a team of 2–3 junior team members.

Identify process gaps and contribute towards process improvement and automation.

Education Requirements

Semi-Qualified CA / CA Dropout preferred.

M.Com candidates with relevant experience are also preferred.

B.Com candidates with strong relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

3–5 years of relevant Finance & Accounts experience.





Experience in a CA Firm / Shared Services / Accounting Outsourcing / Professional Services environment preferred.

Experience handling multiple clients and multiple entities is highly desirable.

Exposure to multi-region/international clients will be an advantage.

Prior experience managing 2–3 team members is an added advantage.

Technical Skills – Must Have

Robust end-to-end accounting knowledge.

Month-end and year-end closing.

Accruals & provisions.

Balance sheet reconciliations.

Financial statement preparation.

GST – advanced working knowledge.

TDS – advanced working knowledge.

Statutory compliances.

Audit coordination.

Good MS Excel skills.

Experience with accounting software/ERP systems like Zoho Books and Quickbooks.
