Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting and taxation processes for Australian clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and timely delivery of work. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledgers, performing reconciliations, and overseeing accounts payable and receivable. The role also involves reviewing tax returns, assisting with tax planning, maintaining compliance with Australian accounting and tax regulations, and responding to client queries.

The Senior

Accountant will guide junior team members, help improve internal processes, and collaborate closely with the Technical Head and client teams. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess taxation skills relevant to Australian clients, such as understanding tax laws, preparing and reviewing tax returns, and supporting tax planning.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and tools, along with solid Excel skills and the ability to work with cloud-based systems.
- Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose process improvements.
- Candidates should possess explicit written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members and document work accurately.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; CA/CPA or equivalent certifications are preferred.
- Experience working with Australian accounting and tax regulations, or in an international accounting environment, will be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to a collaborative, ethical work culture is beneficial.
