1. Taxation and Compliance

- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile input tax credit with GSTR-2B.
- Handle TDS deduction, payment, and quarterly returns; issue TDS certificates.
- Coordinate with the CA firm for income tax, statutory audit, and tax audit.
- Make sure all compliance deadlines are met, with no penalties or late fees.

2. Banking, Payables, and Receivables

- Do bank reconciliation for all accounts every week.
- Manage vendor payments according to agreed terms and approvals.
- Track customer receivables and send ageing reports to management.
- Plan cash flow and inform management in advance about upcoming payments.

3. MIS and Reporting

- Send accurate reports to management on time:
- Weekly: cash and bank position, payables, receivables.
- Monthly: profit and loss, stock report, sales summary, expense analysis.
- Work with our finance consultants to build and maintain the monthly MIS.
- Report any problem, delay, or irregularity to management immediately, in writing

4. Accounting and Bookkeeping

- Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts in Marg ERP.

5. Stock and Inventory Accounting

- Make sure stock in Marg matches physical stock in the warehouse at all times.
- Record all stock movements (inward, outward, returns, damages, samples, and hand parcels) on time and correctly.
- Do monthly stock reconciliation with the warehouse team and report any differences to management immediately.
- Track batch numbers and expiry dates, and keep records of packaging material and loose stock.

6. Export Accounting and Documentation

- Record export sales, foreign currency receipts, and exchange rate differences correctly.
- Track export payments and follow up on pending payments from overseas buyers.
- Maintain records of shipping bills,



e-BRC/FIRC, and LUT.
- Track export advantages such as RoDTEP and duty drawback, and make sure claims are filed on time.

7. Marketplace and Domestic Sales

- Reconcile settlements from Amazon, 1mg, and other marketplaces, including commissions, fees, returns, and discounts.
- Reconcile domestic sales and receivables party by party.
- Check and approve all daily entries: sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Ensure every entry has proper supporting documents and approvals.
- Maintain the ledger structure and chart of accounts.
- Close the books for each month by the 7th of the following month.

Requirements

- B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter or CMA Inter preferred).
- 5 to 8 years of experience in accounts, including at least 2 years in a senior or team-lead role.
- Hands-on experience with Marg ERP (must have). Tally experience is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and export accounting.
- Experience in inventory accounting, preferably in pharma, nutraceutical, FMCG, or manufacturing.
- Good command of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reconciliations).
- Experience with marketplace reconciliation (Amazon, etc.) is an advantage.
- Organised, accountable, and able to report clearly and on time.
