We are looking for an experienced AC Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in AC installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
The technician will be responsible for handling AC-related service and maintenance work at Shell Petrol Stations across Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of Split AC and Cassette AC.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC cooling and operational problems.
- Attend breakdown and service complaints at Shell Petrol Stations across Chennai.
- Perform preventive maintenance and regular AC servicing.
- Check and rectify issues related to:
- Cooling performance
- Gas leakage
- Refrigerant charging
- Compressor
- Condenser and evaporator
- Blower and fan
- Electrical components
- Drainage and water leakage
- Sensors and controls
- Carry out AC installation and dismantling work when required.
- Ensure all service and repair work is completed properly and professionally.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company instructions and site requirements.
Safety Requirements Safety is extremely key for this role.
The technician must strictly follow safety procedures while working at site.
Required safety practices include
- Safety Helmet
- Safety Shoes
- Reflective Safety Vest
- Safety Gloves
- Proper PPE while working
- Safe working practices during installation and maintenance
- Follow electrical and working-at-height safety procedures
- Follow all applicable site safety rules at Shell Petrol Stations
Candidates must be willing to strictly follow safety procedures at all times. Travel & Transportation The job requires travelling to Shell Petrol Stations across Chennai based on service requirements.
Option 1 – Technician's Own Vehicle:
- Candidate can use their own vehicle for site visits.
- Petrol expenses will be provided by the company.
Option 2 – Company-Provided Vehicle:
- Company may provide a vehicle for site travel.
- In this case, petrol expenses will be borne by the technician.
Travel arrangements will be discussed during the interview. Accommodation & Food
- Room accommodation will be provided by the company.
- Basic provisions will be provided for cooking food.
- The technician will be responsible for cooking their own food.
Salary ₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant AC Technician experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Split AC and Cassette AC.
- Good troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience in AC installation and servicing.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to AC equipment.
- Ability to work independently at different locations across Chennai.
- Willingness to travel to multiple Shell Petrol Station locations.
- Must follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Good work discipline and punctuality.
- Ability to handle breakdown and emergency service requirements when needed.
