Role Summary

Contribute to the analysis, remediation, and validation of software security vulnerabilities in Linux-based embedded or telecom platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, stable, and scalable telecom protocol stack software.

What Youll Do

- Analyze, fix, and validate software security vulnerabilities reported by tools such as Coverity, Black Duck, Nessus, or similar
- Debug and resolve issues in protocol stack components, including memory and buffer handling, race conditions, and unsafe API usage
- Work with security teams, developers, testers, architects, and release teams to close vulnerabilities in a timely manner
- Trace complex call flows, analyze logs, reproduce defects, prepare patches, and ensure fixes do not introduce regressions
- Handle security defects in legacy and production code while maintaining software stability, scalability, and low-latency behavior
- Utilize build systems, CI/CD pipelines, code review practices, unit testing,



and defect tracking tools

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Hands-on experience in C/C++ software development on Linux-based embedded or telecom platforms
- Experience analyzing and fixing software security vulnerabilities using relevant tools
- Ability to debug protocol stack components and manage memory, buffers, race conditions, and input validation
- Understanding of secure coding practices, memory safety, multi-threading, IPC, Linux OS concepts, and performance-aware software design
- Working knowledge of 4G/5G RAN stack architecture and protocol layers (e.g., RRC, NGAP, XnAP, PDCP, RLC, MAC)
- Solid communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Exposure to threat modelling, CVE analysis, SBOM/open-source vulnerability handling, and hardening activities
- Familiarity with telecom security standards
