SekurityX is an early-stage cybersecurity startup building an intelligence platform that helps enterprises see their external attack surface exactly how adversaries see it. Our core engines, Argus and Ceres, automate deep web threat intelligence and continuous perimeter reconnaissance. We are currently expanding our platform to build out a comprehensive Digital Risk Protection and Brand Intelligence module, and we need hands-on engineering help to ship it.

You won't be writing compliance reports or doing busywork. You will be writing code, parsing threat data, and building tools directly alongside our senior engineering and research teams.

What you will do

- Write and maintain data collection scrapers and scripts (primarily Python/Go) to safely ingest telemetry from the open web, deep web, and messaging platforms like Telegram.
- Help integrate third-party APIs for our current Brand Intelligence modules, building workflows to track newly registered malicious domains, rogue mobile apps, and social media impersonations.
- Assist the engineering team in refining our vulnerability weaponization engine by automating the parsing of CVE data and public proof-of-concept (PoC) exploits.
- Automate OSINT workflows to map shadow IT, exposed cloud assets, and dangling DNS records.
- Write internal tooling to help our researchers process and contextualize threat data faster.

What you need to bring:

- Solid programming fundamentals in Python and/or Go. You should be comfortable writing scripts that interact with web APIs, handle authentication, and parse large JSON datasets.
- A foundational understanding of network security concepts (DNS, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS).
- Basic knowledge of how modern web applications and multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP) operate—and how they are typically misconfigured.
- Familiarity with Git and standard collaborative developer workflows.
- A hacker’s mindset: you like taking things apart to figure out how they work, and you enjoy automating tedious processes.

Bonus points if you have:
- Experience participating in CTFs (Capture the Flag), Hack the Box, or Bug Bounty programs.
- Hands-on familiarity with OSINT frameworks, Shodan, Recon-ng, or advanced web scraping techniques.
- Past projects involving malware analysis, credential scraping, or threat intelligence feeds.

Why join us?You will get unfiltered experience building a commercial security platform from the ground up. You will work directly with seasoned security engineers, see how real-world threat actors operate on a daily basis, and write code that goes into a live enterprise product. How to apply:Send your resume to [email protected] along with a link to your GitHub profile or a brief description of a security-related tool, script, or project you’ve built recently.
