Role Description The Sea Freight Forwarder (Logistics) is a full-time, in office role based in Gurugram, responsible for coordinating and managing export sea freight shipments. Day-to-day activities include organizing forwarding operations, preparing and verifying shipping documentation, arranging freight transportation with carriers, and ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of cargo.

The role involves close collaboration with customers to provide updates, handle queries, and resolve shipment-related issues while maintaining high service standards.

The Sea Freight

Forwarder will work with internal teams and external partners to optimize shipping routes, manage costs,



and ensure compliance with international trade and customs regulations. The position requires accurate record-keeping, proactive problem-solving, and adherence to company processes and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage forwarding and freight forwarding operations, including end-to-end coordination of sea freight shipments.
- Experience with export processes, including documentation, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
- Strong customer service skills to handle client communication, issue resolution, and status updates professionally.
- Knowledge of freight transportation, carrier selection, and route optimization for sea cargo.
- Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or shipping industry; prior work in sea freight forwarding is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and logistics-related software; familiarity with MS Office is desirable.
- Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, international business, or a related field is advantageous.
