Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer / SDET with strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, React Native, and contemporary test automation practices. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, improving test coverage, and integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities: *

- Act as a technical guide for the QA and engineering teams on test strategy.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to define test requirements and ensure coverage across the test pyramid
- Design and maintain test cases, traceability, and defect tracking in tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.




- Write and maintain Automated tests for backend Node.js Lambda services.
- Build and maintain React Native unit tests with React Native Testing Library and Jest.
- Develop and maintain Black box testing suites for Server, iOS, and Android applications
- Develop and maintain grey box testing suites for Server, iOS, and Android applications
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub actions
- Document test results, report defects, and track issues through resolution.
- Contribute to quality metrics, defect phase tracking, and release readiness reporting.
- Perform manual testing when needed for exploration coverage, triage, or validation of complex scenarios.

Expected skill set: *

- Strong experience in Test Driven Development
- Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience in JavaScript and Typescript
- Experience Unit Testing User Interfaces like React, or React-Native
- Strong understanding of shift-left testing, test pyramid design, and test layering strategies.
- Strong experience with Mocking Frameworks
- Experience designing maintainable and scalable test architectures.
- Experience with data-driven testing, reusable fixtures, and clean code practices.

Good to Have skills:

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Understanding of Docker and containerized testing environments
- Familiarity with testing serverless architecture
- Exposure to React Native Unit Testing
- Experience with Jest or ViTest
- Experience with Maestro
- Experience with Detox




- Experience in GitHub actions or Azure pipelines
- Experience working with Jira API
- Experience with API testing tools
- Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop validation or device-connected workflows.
