Role: SAP PLM Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PLM Functional Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), preferably with experience in S/4HANA PLM and integration with SAP PP, MM, SD, QM, PM, and other business processes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in end-to-end SAP PLM implementations, rollouts, and support projects, with the ability to understand product lifecycle and engineering business requirements, translate them into SAP solutions, and independently drive functional activities across design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of relevant SAP PLM experience with strong functional expertise.
- Hands-on experience in SAP PLM implementation, rollout, or support projects.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management processes,



including product data management, document management, engineering change management, and product structure.
- Strong configuration and functional experience in:
- SAP PLM Product Data Management (PDM)
- Document Management System (DMS)
- Document Info Records (DIR)
- Strong understanding of integration between SAP PLM and PP, MM, SD, QM, PM, and other SAP modules.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA PLM is preferred.
- Good understanding of product master data, material master, BOM, routing, and engineering change processes.
- Experience with business requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, functional design, configuration, and testing.
- Experience in preparing functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP/technical teams for enhancements, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms.
- Hands-on experience in unit testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover, and go-live support.
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, R&D;, and product development processes.
- Good understanding of integration with CAD systems and external PLM applications is an advantage.
- Experience in data migration and cleansing for product, material, BOM, document, and engineering master data is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with business users, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
- Experience in end-to-end SAP PLM implementation or global rollout projects is an added advantage.
