SAP Integration – SAP CPI Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Consultant with 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SAP CPI) / SAP Integration Suite. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and supporting integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP CPI, Groovy/JavaScript scripting, SuccessFactors integrations, and SAP Cloud solutions, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support integrations using SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.

- Develop integration flows (iFlows) between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Implement integrations between SAP SuccessFactors and backend SAP Cloud systems.
- Configure and manage various integration adapters, interfaces, mappings, transformations, and routing requirements.
- Develop and maintain Groovy Scripts and JavaScript for custom integration requirements.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, message-processing errors, and connectivity problems.
- Participate in integration design discussions and translate business requirements into scalable IT solutions.
- Work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand integration requirements.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation for integration solutions and provide knowledge transfer to team members.




- Stay updated with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite capabilities, integration patterns, and emerging SAP technologies.
- Follow integration development standards, security practices, and best practices.
- Support customers and participate in discussions with senior stakeholders and customer management when required.
- Be willing to travel based on business and project requirements.

Mandatory Skills

4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite.

- Strong experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Hands-on experience developing and configuring iFlows.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
- Experience integrating SuccessFactors with backend SAP Cloud systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with Groovy Script.
- Good knowledge of JavaScript for integration development.
- Experience with integration adapters, mappings, transformations, routing, exception handling, and message monitoring.
- Good understanding of integration concepts, APIs, web services, and data transformation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

Knowledge of SAP Integration Suite and its components.

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.




- Knowledge of authentication and secure connectivity mechanisms.
- Experience with integration monitoring and production support.
- Exposure to other SAP cloud products and SAP ecosystem technologies.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
