Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) Consultant with strong hands-on experience in Web Intelligence (WebI), Universe Design, BO Administration, reporting, scheduling, and troubleshooting .

The consultant will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting SAP BusinessObjects reporting solutions and working with business and technical teams to resolve reporting and BI-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, maintain, and troubleshoot SAP BusinessObjects WebI reports .
- Design and maintain Universes using Information Design Tool (IDT) and/or Universe Design Tool (UDT) .
- Perform SAP BO administration activities through Central Management Console (CMC) .
- Manage users, groups, roles, folders, security, and access permissions.
- Configure and manage report scheduling and recurring reports .
- Troubleshoot report failures, data issues, performance problems, and connectivity issues.
- Analyze existing reports and make enhancements based on business requirements.
- Work with database and SAP source systems to resolve reporting and data-related issues.
- Support report migration, deployment, and testing activities.




- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand reporting requirements.
- Provide production support and resolve incidents within agreed timelines.
- Document reporting solutions, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) .
- Strong experience with SAP BO Web Intelligence (WebI) .
- Hands-on experience in Universe Design using:
- Information Design Tool (IDT)
- Universe Design Tool (UDT)
- Strong knowledge of SAP BO Administration .
- Experience with CMC (Central Management Console) .
- Experience with BO security, users, groups, roles, and access management .
- Hands-on experience with BO scheduling .
- Robust experience in report development, enhancement, and troubleshooting .
- Good understanding of report performance and data connectivity.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with SAP ECC / SAP S/4HANA / SAP BW as reporting data sources.
- Knowledge of SAP data structures and reporting environments.
- Experience with report migration and deployment across environments.
- Understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Experience working in production support environments.
