Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP Fiori/UI5 Developer with 5+ years of experience in SAPUI5, Fiori and SAP BTP development. The candidate will be responsible for migrating and modernizing custom enterprise applications from the legacy SAP BTP Neo environment to Cloud Foundry .

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in application refactoring, cloud-native architecture, security configuration, routing migration and development using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) .

Key Responsibilities

- Drive technical migration of custom applications from SAP BTP Neo to Cloud Foundry .
- Refactor and develop SAPUI5 / HTML5 applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).
- Migrate legacy routing configurations from neo-app.json to xs-app.json .
- Configure and implement secure application authentication using XSUAA .
- Configure BTP destinations and connectivity for cloud-native applications.
- Develop and maintain Fiori/UI5 applications following modern Fiori UX and SAP UX design principles.
- Re-architect application variants while maintaining feature and functional parity .
- Work with SAP BTP services including HTML5 Application Repository, Destination Service, XSUAA and Cloud Foundry runtime .




- Analyze legacy Neo applications and identify required code/configuration changes for Cloud Foundry.
- Troubleshoot application, routing, authentication and deployment issues.
- Perform application testing, defect resolution and deployment across BTP environments.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams during migration and modernization activities.
- Prepare technical documentation for application architecture, migration and deployment.

Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of SAPUI5 / Fiori development experience .
- Solid hands-on experience with SAP BTP .
- Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Foundry .
- Experience migrating applications from BTP Neo to Cloud Foundry .
- Strong knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) .
- Hands-on experience with SAPUI5, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS .
- Strong understanding of neo-app.json and xs-app.json .
- Experience configuring XSUAA / OAuth authentication .
- Experience with BTP Destination Service .
- Knowledge of HTML5 Application Repository .
- Good understanding of Fiori UX and modern SAP application architecture.
- Experience with application deployment and troubleshooting on BTP Cloud Foundry.
