Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP BASIS Senior Consultant / Lead with 10+ years of strong SAP BASIS experience and extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA environments .

The ideal candidate must have hands-on SAP Cloud ALM experience and solid expertise in SAP technical administration, S/4HANA implementations, migrations, upgrades, system performance, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage SAP BASIS administration across complex SAP landscapes.
- Provide technical administration and support for SAP S/4HANA systems.
- Perform S/4HANA installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and technical conversions.
- Manage SAP landscapes across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Perform SAP HANA database administration , monitoring, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Manage SAP kernel upgrades, Support Packages, SAP Notes, patches, and system maintenance.
- Handle system refreshes, system copies, client administration, and transport management.
- Monitor system health, availability, performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving application servers, HANA, RFCs, jobs, dumps, locks, interfaces, and system performance.
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration, upgrade, and implementation projects.
- Manage critical production incidents and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) .
- Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and restore activities.
- Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, database, network, security, and third-party teams.
- Prepare technical documentation and operational procedures.




- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior BASIS consultants.
- Lead technical discussions with clients and key stakeholders.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- 10+ years of SAP BASIS experience
- Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience
- Mandatory: SAP Cloud ALM experience
- Strong SAP HANA Database Administration experience
- S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and/or conversion experience
- SAP installation, configuration, patching, and kernel upgrades
- System copy, refresh, and transport management
- SAP performance monitoring and tuning
- Experience with jobs, RFCs, IDocs, dumps, locks, and system logs
- Strong production support and troubleshooting experience
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix and database concepts

- Ability to independently manage critical SAP BASIS activities.
- Lead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical planning, estimation, and risk assessment.
- Coordinate multiple technical teams during implementations, upgrades, migrations, and production issues.
- Mentor and guide BASIS team members.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of overall SAP BASIS experience
- Strong and recent S/4HANA + SAP Cloud ALM experience
- Hands-on SAP HANA administration experience
- Experience managing large/complex SAP landscapes
- Strong production support and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with SAP migration, upgrades, implementations, or technical conversions
- Strong ownership and ability to deliver critical technical activities within timelines
