Job Summary The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, enhancing, and supporting SAP solutions across ECC and S/4HANA environments, while following SAP Clean Core principles and contemporary cloud-ready development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications and custom objects across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

Apply strong ABAP fundamentals, including data types, internal tables, modularization, database operations, exception handling, debugging, performance optimization, and object-oriented programming.

Design, build, test, and support RICEFW objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.

Develop applications using ABAP Objects (OO-ABAP) and modern ABAP programming techniques.

- Develop and optimize CDS Views for S/4HANA applications, reporting, and analytical requirements.
- Develop and support AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for HANA-optimized data processing

and complex database operations.
- Design and develop applications using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Develop and support backend services for SAP Fiori applications, including OData services and Fiori

application integration.
- Work with SAP BTP services and concepts, including cloud-based extensibility, integration, and side-byside

extension scenarios.
- Support SAP's clean-core and extensibility strategy by evaluating appropriate in-app, on-stack, and sideby-

side extensibility approaches.
- Develop and support SAP enhancements including User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement

Framework, and custom developments.
- Design and maintain SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and output management solutions.
- Develop and support SAP integration solutions using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData Services, and SAP

integration technologies.
- Work with SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI for integration scenarios and understand cloud integration

concepts.
- Gain awareness and apply SAP Joule capabilities where applicable to SAP development, business

processes, and enterprise AI scenarios.
- Analyze functional specifications and translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable

development solutions.
- Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, test scenarios, and technical design

documents.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect analysis, debugging, and bug fixing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Perform ABAP code reviews, SQL optimization,



performance tuning, and runtime analysis.
- Support UAT, deployment activities, cutover tasks, release management, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Follow SAP development standards, transport management procedures, security guidelines, and SDLC

processes.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, technical architects, business users, and other

development teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.
- Ensure development follows SAP Clean Core principles, SAP extensibility guidelines, and S/4HANA best

practices. Required Skills & Experience
- 3-4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong understanding of ABAP fundamentals, including:

- Solid experience in ABAP Programming and ABAP Objects (OO-ABAP).

- Experience with RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) and modern ABAP development is

required/preferred.
- Experience in developing and supporting SAP Fiori backend applications and OData services.

- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and modern SAP extensibility approaches.
- Awareness of SAP Joule and SAP Business AI capabilities is desirable.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills.
- Experience with SAP transport management and deployment processes.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing,



and release management.
- Ability to analyze functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP development and side-by-side extensibility.
- Experience with RAP, CAP, and SAP BTP application development.
- Strong knowledge of CDS Views, CDS annotations, associations, and semantic modeling.
- Experience with AMDP and HANA performance optimization.
- Experience in SAP Fiori / Fiori Elements development and OData services.
- Exposure to SAP Joule, SAP Business AI, and AI-assisted SAP development scenarios.
- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core and SAP S/4HANA Cloud extensibility.
- Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration.
- Experience with Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and automated deployment practices in SAP environments.
- Experience supporting AMS engagements or large-scale SAP transformation programs.
- Experience working in global delivery and Agile project environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- SAP ABAP and/or SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
- Experience working on S/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, or transformation projects.
- Experience with modern SAP development technologies such as RAP, CDS, AMDP, Fiori, and BTP.
- Strong understanding of SAP development standards, clean-core principles, and extensibility best

practices.
- Experience working with global teams and distributed delivery models.
