Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Senior Engineer – Level 2 to provide technical leadership and solution ownership across Salesforce platforms and transformation initiatives. The role involves leading the design and delivery of complex enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions, influencing engineering direction, driving technology standards, and working closely with Architects, Product Managers, Senior Stakeholders, and engineering teams.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership while ensuring Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities Engineering Delivery Lead, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications and solutions in accordance with approved designs, development standards, and engineering best practices. Lead the technical design and delivery of large-scale Salesforce programmes and strategic initiatives. Own end-to-end technical solutions from concept through implementation and production support.

Partner with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to define scalable platform roadmaps. Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions. Conduct technical analysis, sizing, estimation, and implementation planning.

Drive engineering decisions considering business outcomes, technical quality, and long-term sustainability. Lead complex technical investigations, platform improvements, and transformation activities. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and technical issues.

Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and secure coding practices. Develop and execute unit tests to ensure solutions meet quality and performance expectations. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support root cause analysis.

Support

Salesforce release management, deployment activities, and production implementations. Work with Quality Engineers to support testing, defect resolution, and release readiness. Identify opportunities to improve development practices, tools, and processes. Support integration development and maintenance between Salesforce and enterprise applications. Support production incidents and major defect resolution activities as required. Build effective working relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams. Contribute to Agile product team objectives with a customer-focused approach.

• Design Lead solution design activities involving Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), OmniStudio, integrations, and platform services. Influence platform architecture decisions and future technology adoption.

Lead development of complex solutions using: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Flows OmniStudio Platform Events Advanced Salesforce capabilities Provide oversight of code quality, technical standards, and platform optimisation. Drive adoption of reusable frameworks, design patterns, and engineering accelerators. Ensure platform compliance with security, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Enterprise Integration

Define and lead implementation of enterprise integration approaches. Partner with integration teams across MuleSoft, Azure, and enterprise services. Ensure API reliability, observability, performance, and maintainability. Support data migration, synchronisation, and platform modernisation initiatives. Agile &

Proven experience leading technical design and solution delivery.
