About The Ksquare Group The Ksquare Group is a global technology consulting company headquartered in Dallas, Texas, with over 14 years of experience delivering technology solutions across Salesforce, cloud, data, AI, and network engineering for clients in Banking & Financial Services, Public Sector, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Logistics, Healthcare, and Enterprise Services.
About the Role
Salesforce Health Cloud Technical Lead (Lead Developer level)
Location and type
India-based, full-time permanent, may need supporting US Central hours
Minimum experience
6+ years on the Salesforce platform, including 2+ years hands-on in Health Cloud / Agentforce Health, with at least 2 years leading a technical squad
We are hiring a Technical Lead who has built on Health Cloud for hospitals, health systems, provider groups or payers for most of the last four years and has led other developers through at least two implementations to go-live.
You will be the hands-on technical owner of a delivery squad: translating the architect's design into a build plan, making the day-to-day technical decisions, building the hardest pieces yourself, reviewing everything else, and keeping the team to the configuration-first standard.
You will join a program that implements a physician and provider recruiting solution for a US health system on top of the standard Health Cloud provider data model, with Agentforce and Data 360 entering the production MVP.
You will work with a Solution SME, a QA lead and a business analyst, run the developer design clinics, and be the person the architect and the client technical team call first.
Key responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for a squad of three to six developers: break the architecture into a build plan, sequence work by dependency (Person Accounts and security model before intake, schema before Flows, Action Plan templates before onboarding stories), assign it, track it and remove blockers daily.
- Set and enforce the build standards: reuse of the Health Cloud provider data model (Person Accounts, HealthcareProvider, HealthcareProviderNpi, Specialty and Taxonomy, BoardCertification, BusinessLicense, PersonEducation, HealthcareFacility and HealthcarePractitionerFacility) with no duplication in custom objects; private OWD and permission set groups on sensitive domains; configuration before code.
- Build the critical-path components personally — complex record-triggered and screen Flows, Apex where the design justifies it (concurrency control, orchestration, integration helpers), targeted Lightning Web Components — and hand the rest to the squad with clear acceptance criteria.
- Review every pull request at design and code level: Flow structure (before-save vs after-save, entry conditions, fault paths, bulk safety at 200 records), Apex quality (handler pattern, bulkification, sharing and FLS enforcement, no hardcoded IDs, 100% coverage on new classes with mocks), LWC accessibility and test hooks, Salesforce Code Analyzer findings.
- Own integration build: Named and External Credentials, External Services from OpenAPI specifications, Flow HTTP Callout, Platform Events with idempotent subscribers, registry callouts (CMS NPPES), mock services and canonical contracts for systems behind the client's enterprise API layer (Oracle Taleo, PeopleSoft HCM, job boards); FHIR R4 mapping through MuleSoft or the client's integration platform where engagements require it.
- Own the environment and release pipeline: sandbox strategy per stream,
source-driven development with Git and the Salesforce CLI, CI validation with RunLocalTests, package.xml-based deployments, metadata freezes, post-deployment runbooks and configuration logs; Setup Audit Trail reviews after freeze.
- Configure and automate Health Cloud capabilities in scope — Action Plans and Document Checklist Items, consent (Authorization Form) objects, Code Sets, duplicate and matching rules, Provider Search — and know where each product boundary is so the squad does not build what the platform already does.
- Make the solution agent-ready and lead the Agentforce build: descriptive autolaunched Flows exposed as agent actions, Prompt Builder templates grounded on record data with field-level security respected and exclusions enforced, Data 360 (Data Cloud) activation of the relevant objects, Testing Center evidence with QA.
- Apply the client's data-security architecture for non-production: synthetic data in development, masked data only where approved, non-production endpoints only, no payload logging of PHI, Shield Platform Encryption considerations, guest-user hardening for Experience Cloud forms.
- Work with the architect on design decisions and estimates; flag design risks early with evidence; produce technical designs, decision logs and limitation notes the architect can take to the client.
- Work with QA on testability from the start: Flow Tests on every record-triggered Flow, data-testid hooks for automation, contract definitions for mocks, defect triage and same-day resolution during POC and UAT.
- Run the squad's design clinics and readiness gates; mentor and coach developers on Health Cloud specifics and platform best practice; onboard new developers using the practice's learning playbooks.
- Represent the build in client technical conversations, sprint reviews and demo rehearsals; present technical walk-throughs to client architects and security teams.
Required experience and skills
Non-negotiable
At least 2 years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud / Agentforce Health experience on enterprise-scale healthcare implementations, and at least 2 years leading developers on those implementations. Candidates whose Health Cloud exposure is limited to a single module, a demo org or a short project will not be shortlisted.
- 7+ years of Salesforce platform development experience, of which 4+ years hands-on in Salesforce Health Cloud / Agentforce Health on enterprise-scale implementations (health system, hospital network, large provider group or payer), and at least 2 years as technical lead or lead developer of a delivery squad.
- Demonstrable technical leadership on at least two Health Cloud implementations through go-live, including the provider data model, Person Accounts and a security model for sensitive data.
- Expert declarative skills: Flow (record-triggered, screen, autolaunched, Flow Tests), Dynamic Forms, Path, validation rules, duplicate management, Action Plans, reports and dashboards — and the judgement to say when a requirement should not be Flow.
- Strong Apex and LWC with governor limits, bulkification, sharing and FLS enforcement,
trigger handler patterns and test design; able to review these in others' code and explain the reasons.
- Integration build experience with Named Credentials, External Services, Platform Events, REST APIs and at least one enterprise integration platform (MuleSoft preferred); able to define a canonical contract and stand up a mock against it.
- Release management on the Salesforce platform: Git branching, Salesforce CLI, CI pipelines, sandbox strategy, deployment validation, rollback planning.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA obligations as they affect development practice, of Salesforce Shield, and of non-production data protection (masking, sandbox access controls).
- Experience with Agentforce, Prompt Builder and Data 360 (Data Cloud) at build level.
- Proven ability to lead a distributed squad across time zones: planning, code review, mentoring, unblocking, and honest status reporting.
- Clear written and spoken English; able to explain a design to a tester, a business analyst, an architect and a client security reviewer.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to physician or provider recruiting, provider onboarding, credentialing data or provider relationship management on Salesforce — a robust plus.
- OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors) from Health Cloud payer or provider network implementations.
- FHIR R4 and HL7 v2 mapping experience; EHR integration (Epic, Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH) via MuleSoft or interface engines.
- Experience Cloud (LWR) sites for providers or applicants, including guest-user security.
- Intelligent Document Reader or other document-extraction tooling.
- Familiarity with Oracle Taleo, PeopleSoft HCM or Workday integration patterns.
- Experience building or running a developer enablement program or internal coding standards.
