Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable e-commerce solutions. You will work on storefront and headless commerce implementations, building integrations and custom APIs with OCAPI and SCAPI, and collaborating with architects, QA, and business teams to deliver high-performing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize SFRA storefronts, including controllers, models, ISML templates, and client-side JavaScript
- Design, implement, and consume OCAPI (Shop and Data APIs) and SCAPI (Shopper APIs, Admin APIs) for headless and composable commerce use cases
- Build and manage OCAPI hooks, SCAPI custom APIs, and custom endpoints
- Configure and secure API access using Account Manager, SLAS, and JWT/OAuth flows
- Develop cartridges, jobs, and integrations with third-party systems such as payment gateways, OMS, ERP, PIM, tax, search, and CDP platforms
- Implement and maintain Business Manager configurations: catalogs, pricing, promotions, content slots, and site preferences
- Work with PWA Kit / Managed Runtime and Composable Storefront where applicable
- Optimize performance: caching strategies, page cache, API response times, and code quality
- Support CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, deployments across sandboxes, staging, and production, and production issue triage
- Write unit and integration tests, and contribute to technical documentation




- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA in an Agile/Scrum environment

Required Skills And Qualifications

- 4-7 years of hands-on Salesforce B2C Commerce development experience
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with OCAPI (authentication, scopes, rate limits, versioning, hooks)
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience with SCAPI (Shopper APIs, Admin APIs, custom APIs, SLAS)
- Robust proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, and server-side SFCC scripting
- Experience with SFRA, plus HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and jQuery or modern JS frameworks
- Solid understanding of REST API design, JSON, and webhook/event-based integrations
- Experience with Account Manager and OAuth 2.0 / JWT security models
- Familiarity with SFCC job framework, services framework, and custom objects
- Proficiency with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools, and tools like VS Code with Prophet Debugger and sfcc-ci
- Strong debugging skills using Log Center, Code Profiler, and Pipeline Profiler

Preferred Qualifications

- Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer or Architect certification
- Experience with React and PWA Kit (Composable Storefront)
- Knowledge of Commerce Cloud Einstein, Salesforce Data Cloud, or Marketing Cloud integrations
- Experience with headless/composable architectures and middleware (MuleSoft or similar)
- Familiarity with accessibility (WCAG), SEO best practices, and PCI/GDPR considerations
- Experience in multi-site, multi-locale, and multi-currency implementations
