Role Description The Sales Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for supporting the sales organization with accurate and timely administrative and operational tasks. This includes preparing quotations, maintaining customer records, updating sales reports and dashboards, and tracking key performance indicators.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, resolving customer inquiries related to pricing or documentation, and supporting follow-up on leads and opportunities. The specialist will help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing reliable information,



monitoring service commitments, and escalating issues as needed. The position also contributes to process improvements, documentation of best practices, and adherence to company policies and service standards.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-facing capabilities, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to handle inquiries and support ongoing relationships.
- Solid Sales Operations experience to manage quotations, order processing, reporting, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Effective Communication skills (written and verbal) to interact clearly with customers, sales colleagues, and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data, prepare reports, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business, Commerce, Logistics, or related field) or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with CRM or sales support tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work with accuracy under deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
- Prior experience in logistics, shipping, or a global services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
