Role overviewWe're hiring a driven Sales Representative to own the journey from lead to project handover. You'll be the main point of contact for clients and MSEB, and will also support procurement for our transportation unit.
Key responsibilities
Sales & business development
- Generate residential, commercial and industrial solar leads through field visits, cold outreach and local events
- Present proposals and quotations, negotiate and close deals
- Build lasting client relationships and handle queries and complaints
MSEB & government liaison
- Be the primary contact with MSEB for net metering applications, inspections and approvals
- Follow up on documentation and subsidy applications (e.g. PM Surya Ghar)
- Keep records of all utility correspondence
Project coordination
- Track projects from site survey to commissioning and handover
- Coordinate with installation teams, engineers and subcontractors
- Conduct site visits to check quality and timelines
Procurement (transportation unit)
- Source and negotiate with vendors for materials, equipment and logistics
- Track orders, deliveries and inventory, and report status to management
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Engineering, Business or Energy preferred)
- 1–4 years in field sales, EPC or the solar/energy sector
- Fluent in Marathi and Hindi, with basic English
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willing to travel daily within the territory
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence (mandatory)
- Knowledge of MSEB processes, net metering and solar schemes is an advantage
