Role & Responsibilities

Pragati Energy (A Unit of Butoo Vishal Urja Pvt. Limited) is hiring Sales Managers for residential rooftop solar sales under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Key Responsibilities:

- Generate leads and achieve monthly rooftop solar sales targets in the assigned district.
- Develop business through local market visits, dealers, electricians and customer referrals.
- Explain rooftop solar systems, government subsidies, electricity savings and financing options to customers.
- Assist customers with bank loan applications, processing and coordination.
- Collect and verify customer documents and coordinate PM Surya Ghar portal applications.
- Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys and solar installations.
- Ensure timely collection of advance payments, balance payments and outstanding dues.
- Maintain customer relationships and submit daily and weekly sales reports.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to installation and final payment collection.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate preferred, with 15 years of field sales experience.
- Experience in Solar, Banking, Finance, Insurance, FMCG, Automobile or Real Estate sales preferred.
- Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar Yojana and rooftop solar systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of the local market and surrounding areas.




- Basic computer knowledge and ability to handle customer documentation.
- Two-wheeler and smartphone preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented and willing to undertake regular field visits.
- Local candidates from the respective districts will be preferred.

Job Locations – Madhya Pradesh: Katni, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Damoh, Tikamgarh, Jabalpur, Sidhi and Singrauli.

Job Locations – Chhattisgarh:

Mungeli, Kawardha (Kabirdham), Raipur, Ambikapur (Surguja), Korba and Pendra (Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi).

Total Locations: 15 districts/locations across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
