We’re Hiring: Sales Manager | Maritime Business Development

EaseMySailing is looking for a Sales Manager – Maritime Business Development to join our growing team and help build stronger connections across the global maritime recruitment and crewing ecosystem.

We are specifically looking for professionals with maritime industry experience who understand the shipping industry, vessel operations, seafarer recruitment, crewing, or ship management and can build strong B2B relationships within the maritime sector.

Who We’re Looking For

This role is specifically suited for candidates with a marine / maritime background, including:

1.Ex-seafarers / former sailing professionals with onboard experience

2.Candidates with experience working onboard merchant vessels

3.Marine professionals with experience in shipping or ship management

4.Professionals from crewing / manning / maritime recruitment

5.Candidates with experience working with shipowners, ship managers, manning agencies, or maritime service providers

6.Maritime professionals who have moved into sales, business development, client relations, or commercial roles

7.Candidates with a strong network within the shipping and maritime industry

Key Requirements

Mandatory: Relevant maritime / shipping industry experience

Sailing or onboard experience will be highly relevant

Good understanding of seafarer recruitment, crewing, manning, or ship management

Strong understanding of the maritime industry and its stakeholders

Experience in B2B sales, business development, recruitment, or client relationship management is preferred

Ability to identify and develop relationships with shipowners, ship managers, crewing companies, manning agencies,



and maritime organizations

Strong communication, networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Ability to independently develop current business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships

Willingness to actively engage with the maritime industry and build a strong professional network

What You’ll Do

Develop new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping industry

Build relationships with shipowners, ship managers, crewing companies, manning agencies, and maritime organizations

Identify companies with seafarer recruitment and crewing requirements

Introduce EaseMySailing's platform and recruitment solutions to maritime companies

Generate and manage B2B leads within the maritime ecosystem

Develop partnerships and commercial opportunities with maritime stakeholders

Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients

Represent EaseMySailing at maritime events, meetings, conferences, and industry networking opportunities

Understand client requirements and coordinate with the team to develop suitable solutions
