Job Title: Automation Sales Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

Experience: 3–5 Years

Industry: Industrial Automation / Electrical Projects

Salary range : 4.8 to 8 LPA

Job Timings: 9:30 AM to 6.00 PM (6 Days week)

Role Summary

Our client is looking for a technically strong Automation Sales Engineer with hands-on exposure to OEMs, contractors, and panel builders, capable of driving business for PLC, VFD, HMI, and electrical control panels. The role involves consultative selling, opportunity development, technical coordination, and basic costing support for industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop business with OEMs, system integrators, contractors, and panel builders
- Promote PLC, VFD, HMI, servo, and electrical panel solutions
- Packaging OEM , Pharma OEM, Crane OEM , HVAC application working and market ideas
- Identify customer applications and provide technical solution proposals
- Support preparation of BOM, basic costing, and techno-commercial offers
- Coordinate with engineering and costing teams for accurate proposals




- Convert opportunities from competition through technical engagement
- Handle customer meetings, site visits, demos, and project discussions
- Track leads, manage CRM pipeline, and close orders
- Support order execution, commissioning coordination, and after-sales follow-ups
- Maintain robust relationships with consultants and key decision-makers

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of PLC & VFD , Servo applications
- Working knowledge of electrical panels (MCC, PLC panels, VFD panels)
- Exposure to costing process, BOM preparation, and margin awareness
- Experience with OEM / contractor / panel builder sales cycles
- Familiarity with Schneider / Inovance / Siemens / Delta preferred

Qualification Diploma / BE in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation
