Role Description This is a full-time, in office Sales Employee role based at the Clay by Lingaraj Granites showroom in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Employee will welcome and engage customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations across marbles, granites, tiles, bathware, lighting, and other decor solutions.

Responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, preparing quotations, handling pricing discussions, and following up with leads to convert inquiries into sales. The role involves maintaining product displays, keeping the showroom organized,



coordinating with the inventory and logistics teams, and updating customer records.

The Sales

Employee will also support promotional activities, share feedback from customers, and contribute to a positive showroom experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Sales and negotiation skills, including experience in consultation-based selling and closing deals in retail or showroom environments.
- Basic product knowledge or interest in home decor, building materials, and interior design, with willingness to learn technical details.
- Transparent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, with professional presentation and etiquette.
- Comfort with basic computer use (email, spreadsheets, CRM tools) and maintaining accurate sales and customer records.
- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends or extended hours as needed during peak seasons.
- Prior experience in retail, home decor, construction materials, or related industries is an advantage.
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
