Grow Your Staff is looking for a Sales Development Representative (Outbound & CRM Setup) for a field operations software company serving construction contractors. This is a full time remote position.

The role will have excellent growth opportunities. You will be directly working with the team based in Canada.

Responsibilities

- Set up and manage the outbound sales pipeline in Close CRM, including lead stages, fields, workflows, and reporting.
- Identify and research construction contractors and the decision-makers responsible for their operations.
- Build targeted prospect lists and keep contact and company information accurate in the CRM.
- Write and test cold email, call, and follow-up templates tailored to different prospects.
- Create and run outreach cadences with clear follow-up steps and timelines.
- Conduct cold calls and send cold emails regularly to engage prospects, qualify their interest,



and book meetings or product demos for the sales team.
- Track outreach activity, responses, meetings booked, and pipeline progress; use the results to improve messaging and targeting.
- Document the sales process so it can be used consistently as the team grows.

Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with both cold calling and cold emailing is mandatory, along with proven experience in B2B sales development or outbound sales.
- Hands-on experience setting up and managing a CRM; experience with Close is strongly preferred.
- Ability to build an outbound process from the ground up, including prospect lists, messaging, cadences, and pipeline stages.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the confidence to speak to business owners and operations leaders.
- A structured approach to prospecting, follow-up, CRM records, and performance tracking.
- Experience selling SaaS or working with construction companies is a plus.
