Role Description: The Sales and Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role responsible for supporting customers across the South, North, and West zones through technical service, lead generation, and pre- and post-sales activities. Day-to-day tasks include installing, commissioning, and maintaining IVF and ART biomedical equipment at customer locations, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs or adjustments to ensure optimal performance. The role involves providing field service visits, handling technical support queries, guiding users on the correct operation and basic maintenance of equipment, and identifying opportunities for new sales and service requirements.

The engineer will also be responsible for generating and following up on sales and service leads through customer visits, market interactions, referrals,



and other business development activities. The engineer collaborates closely with the sales team by conducting product demonstrations, supporting tenders or proposals, gathering customer feedback, and converting relevant leads into business opportunities. The position also requires accurate documentation of service activities and leads, adherence to quality and safety procedures, and clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve issues with biomedical and laboratory equipment.
- Candidates should possess Field Service capabilities, including site visits, installation, commissioning, and customer training activities.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills to perform preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and equipment calibration.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, collaborate with internal teams, and document service activities clearly.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field.
- Experience in medical devices, IVF labs, or healthcare equipment service is an advantage.
- Ability to travel within the region, work on-site in clinical environments, and manage multiple service assignments.
- Familiarity with ISO and regulatory requirements for medical devices and commitment to safety and quality standards.
