As we continue to scale, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Operations Manager to spearhead our market expansion and optimize our daily supply chain activities in Pune and surrounding regions.

​Role Overview

​The Sales and Operations Manager will serve as the crucial link between our sales growth objectives and our on-the-ground logistics. You will be responsible for driving wholesale revenue, acquiring new B2B clients, and managing the end-to-end operational workflow from order procurement and inventory management to final delivery tracking. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance aggressive sales targets with efficient, cost-effective operational execution.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Sales Strategy & Business Development: Identify and acquire new wholesale clients, distributors, and bulk buyers in the food grain and edible oil sectors to expand market reach.
- ​Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term partnerships with existing buyers and vendors, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- ​Logistics & Delivery Tracking: Oversee the daily dispatch and delivery schedules, ensuring that transportation and logistics tracking run efficiently and orders are fulfilled on time.
- ​Inventory Management: Monitor warehouse stock levels of grains, pulses, and oils closely, coordinating with procurement teams to prevent shortages and manage surplus effectively.




- ​Operational Workflow Optimization: Implement and refine standard operating procedures for the warehouse and distribution teams to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- ​Performance Reporting: Track sales metrics, operational KPIs, and daily dispatch logs, providing regular performance reports and strategic recommendations to the core management team.
- ​Contract Management: Assist in executing and managing legal collaboration templates and partnership agreements with vendors and logistics providers.

​Ideal Candidate Profile

- ​Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- ​Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience in B2B sales and operations management, preferably within the FMCG, agricultural commodities, or wholesale food distribution industries.
- ​Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the wholesale market dynamics in Pune and surrounding areas.
- ​Leadership & Negotiation: Excellent leadership qualities with a track record of managing teams and negotiating high-value contracts.
- ​Analytical Skills: Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales trends and operational bottlenecks to implement effective solutions.
- ​Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with a diverse range of stakeholders, from warehouse staff to high-level corporate partners.
