Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Safety Engineer to ensure protected execution of MEP construction activities at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with statutory and project safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards at the project site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.
- Ensure safe execution of MEP activities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and equipment installation.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statement reviews.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
- Monitor safety during high-risk activities such as work at height,



hot work, lifting operations, confined space work, and electrical activities.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness programs for workers and supervisors.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client safety teams.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, checklists, and training records.
- Monitor housekeeping, access routes, emergency arrangements, fire protection, and site welfare facilities.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees, workers, and subcontractors.
- Ensure safety signage, barricading, and warning systems are properly maintained.
- Track and close safety observations and corrective actions.
