Role Description This is a full time, on-site Rockwell PLC Programmer role based in Korba. The Rockwell PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, programming, configuring, and testing Rockwell PLC systems for industrial process control and automation projects. Day-to-day activities include developing ladder logic and other control programs, integrating PLCs with HMIs and SCADA systems, troubleshooting control systems, and optimizing performance and reliability of automation solutions.





The role involves working closely with project engineers, commissioning teams, and maintenance personnel to implement control strategies, support start-up and shutdown activities, and resolve technical issues during operation. The programmer will also prepare documentation, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of control system architecture in line with client and project requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Rockwell Automation PLC programming skills (e.g., ControlLogix, CompactLogix, RSLogix/Studio 5000) and experience in ladder logic and function block programming.
- Candidates should possess skills in HMI/SCADA configuration and integration (e.g., FactoryTalk View, other industrial HMIs) and communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
- Candidates should possess abilities in control system design, panel layout understanding, I/O mapping, and integration with field instruments and drives (VFDs, motor starters).
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for PLC, HMI, and field device issues, including fault analysis, alarm handling, and system optimization.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of industrial automation standards, safety interlocks, and best practices for process control in heavy industry or energy sectors.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary engineering, commissioning, and maintenance teams on-site.
