About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineer to work on the development, prototyping, integration and testing of robotic systems.

This is a hardware-focused robotics role, suitable for engineers who enjoy building and debugging physical robotic systems rather than working purely on robotics software.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, build and integrate robotic hardware systems and prototypes.
- Work with sensors, actuators, motors, motor drivers and embedded controllers.
- Select and integrate electronic components based on system requirements and datasheets.
- Work with microcontrollers/SBCs such as ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar platforms.
- Perform hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting and debugging.
- Interface sensors and actuators with embedded systems.
- Develop and test embedded hardware/software interfaces.
- Support PCB/circuit design, wiring and electronics integration.
- Rapidly prototype, test and iterate robotic systems.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams during robot development.
- Participate in system-level integration and validation of robotic platforms.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in Robotics / Mechatronics / Automation.
- Strong understanding of electronics and embedded systems.
- Experience with sensors, actuators, motors and motor drivers.
- Experience with ESP32 / STM32 / Arduino / Raspberry Pi or similar MCUs/SBCs.
- Knowledge of Embedded C/C++.
- Experience with hardware debugging and troubleshooting.




- Understanding of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN.
- Experience with prototyping and hardware integration.
- Ability to read and interpret datasheets and circuit diagrams.

Good to Have
- Experience with ROS / ROS2.
- Experience with AMR / AGV / robotic arms / autonomous robots.
- PCB design and circuit development.
- 3D CAD / mechanical prototyping.
- Experience with LiDAR, encoders, IMU, cameras or other robotics sensors.
- Exposure to computer vision or autonomous systems.
- Experience working in a robotics startup/R&D; environment.

Institute requirement: Candidates should preferably be from IITs or comparable premier/reputed engineering institutes.

Preferred Candidate Background

Candidates currently or previously working in robotics-focused companies, robotics R&D; teams or robotics labs will be preferred.

Examples of relevant backgrounds include companies such as Ati Motors, Addverb, GreyOrange, Origin Tech, Mowito, and comparable robotics organizations/labs.

Key Note for Candidates

This is NOT a purely software/IT robotics role.

Candidates should have demonstrable hands-on experience with robotic hardware, electronics, embedded systems, sensors, actuators and physical robot integration.
