Our top customers include Publicly Listed, Series D and Series E companies across various sectors like EdTech and Travelling processing millions through us every month The Role You''re founding the Risk function at PX.

You''ll build the playbooks, manage regulators and payment networks, monitor fraud, and ship processes that scale with our growth.



As the function stabilizes and our transaction volume grows, you''ll expand into leadership and team building.This is not a policy role. You''ll do the work: monitoring transactions, filing compliance reports, handling chargebacks, and managing payment network relationships.

What You''ll Do

- Set up real-time fraud detection and rules-based monitoring across our payment rails. Work with engineers to ship rules to production and iterate on them as patterns emerge.
- Own AML and compliance end-to-end transaction monitoring, STR filing, regulatory reporting to RBI and payment networks, and audit readiness.
- Build chargeback and dispute playbooks from scratch. Own detection, investigation, recovery, and merchant communication.
- Be SPOC for payment network escalations and regulatory correspondence. Manage relationships with acquirers and compliance authorities.
- Define core risk metrics and dashboards. Ship weekly reporting to leadership and use data to drive decisions.

What We''re Looking For

- 10+ years in Risk, Fraud, or Compliance, ideally in payments, fintech, or high-volume eCommerce
- Built risk/compliance functions from scratch in an early-stage company. You''ve owned a function solo and moved fast with incomplete information.
- Deep platform expertise, you know fraud detection tools, rule engines, and payment network frameworks. You understand fraud rules, chargebacks,



and AML requirements.
- Strong communication and data skills. You can explain complex risk concepts to founders, identify patterns, and make fast decisions.
- Non-negotiable: you''re comfortable operating with high autonomy, reporting to the CEO, owning multiple workstreams, and building from zero.
