Hiring: Retention Manager

Location: Vyttila, Kochi

We are looking for a Retention Manager with strong student counselling, convincing, and customer retention skills to handle students who are considering discontinuing or dropping out of their courses.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle dropout/withdrawal cases and understand the concerns of students and parents.
- Conduct strong counselling sessions to identify issues and convince students to continue their courses.
- Build rapport with students and parents and provide suitable solutions to their concerns.
- Follow up consistently with inactive/dropout students and work towards retention and rejoining.
- Handle objections related to fees, course value, personal issues, career concerns, and other challenges.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams to resolve student concerns effectively.
- Maintain proper records of retention cases, follow-ups, conversions, and rejoining.




- Achieve monthly retention and rejoining targets.
- Take ownership of difficult cases and ensure maximum possible retention.

Requirements

- Robust experience in student counselling / academic counselling / customer retention.
- Excellent communication, convincing, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle difficult conversations and convert negative situations into positive outcomes.
- Target-oriented and confident in handling follow-ups.
- Experience in EdTech, education, counselling, telecalling, or customer retention will be preferred.
- Candidates who are aggressive, persuasive, and result-oriented are highly preferred.

Experience: 2+ years preferred Work Location: Vyttila, Kochi

Salary: As per experience and interview performance

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
