Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and target-oriented Retail Sales Officer to join our jewellery retail team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, recommending suitable jewellery, achieving sales targets, and delivering a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and engage customers professionally and understand their jewellery requirements.
- Recommend suitable gold, diamond, gemstone and other jewellery products based on customer preferences and budget.
- Explain product details such as design, quality, purity, gemstones, pricing and making charges.
- Achieve individual and store-level sales targets.
- Handle customer queries, objections and complaints professionally.
- Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat business through follow-ups.
- Support upselling and cross-selling of jewellery products.
- Maintain proper product display, showroom presentation and visual merchandising standards.
- Handle jewellery carefully and follow all security and company SOPs.
- Assist with billing, POS transactions,



quotations and related documentation.
- Support stock checking, product arrangement and inventory activities.
- Stay updated on new collections, jewellery trends, schemes and promotional offers.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and team to ensure smooth store operations.

Candidate Requirements
- Education: 12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 13 years in retail sales; jewellery retail experience preferred/mandatory depending on the role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and sales-oriented approach.
- Valuable knowledge or interest in jewellery products.
- Presentable with professional grooming.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and work in a team.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends and festive periods.
