Retail Executive, Kashmir Loom | New Delhi

Kashmir Loom was founded to keep some of the world's most extraordinary textile traditions alive. We work with master weavers and artisans across Kashmir to create Kani shawls, fine sozni embroidered pashmina and handcrafted textiles, pieces that can take months, sometimes years, to make and are meant to be handed down for generations. With our team in Delhi and Srinagar, we bring these crafts to a discerning clientele who values beauty, rarity and the skilled human hands behind every piece.

Why this role

This isn't an ordinary retail job. Every piece on our shelves has a story: the region it comes from, the weaver who made it, the technique that has survived for centuries. As a Retail Executive, you will be the person who tells that story. You will also have the opportunity to travel and learn about the craft so that you have first hand knowledge when you are dealing with our clients.

You'll get to know our customers personally, many of whom return to us over years, and help them find pieces they will treasure for a lifetime. You'll build deep knowledge of Kashmiri craft, work closely with a small and passionate team, and be part of a brand where quality and care are most important.

What you'll do

- Welcome every customer warmly and create a personal, unhurried experience in the store
- Understand what each customer is looking for and offer thoughtful, personalized recommendations




- Speak confidently about our products, including craftsmanship, materials, provenance and pricing
- Suggest complementary pieces and upgrades in a way that feels natural and never pushy
- Keep the store and displays in excellent condition, in line with our visual merchandising standards
- Keep an eye on stock levels and work with the operations team on replenishment, so that no sale is lost
- Handle billing, exchanges, returns and customer queries accurately and in line with store policy
- Keep explicit records of daily sales and customer transactions
- Support store opening and closing, and keep the sales floor organized and presentable
- Build lasting customer relationships and encourage repeat visits
- Help with special events, group visits, private client appointments and other store activities

Who we're looking for

- Experience in luxury, fashion or lifestyle retail
- Warm, polished and confident with customers
- A real interest in textiles, craft or design, and an eagerness to learn
- Good spoken English and Hindi
- Organized, dependable and comfortable with billing and basic record keeping
- Available to work weekends and during store events

Salary will be commensurate with your experience.
