Job Summary:

The Consultant Care Specialist is a key member of the delivery and engagement team responsible for ensuring a positive and seamless experience for IT consultants throughout their assignment lifecycle. From onboarding to offboarding, the Consultant Care Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for consultants, helping them navigate company processes, address concerns, and maintain strong engagement and retention. This role is vital in promoting consultant satisfaction, reducing attrition, and strengthening the company s brand as an employer of choice in the IT staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consultant Onboarding & Orientation
- Coordinate the onboarding process for newly placed consultants, including documentation, compliance, and first-day readiness.
- Provide welcome orientation to ensure consultants understand company policies, point-of-contact details, and assignment expectations.

- Relationship Management

- Serve as the main point of contact for consultants during the entire project duration.
- Conduct regular check-ins to monitor satisfaction, engagement, and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Act as a liaison between consultants and internal departments (e.g., HR, Payroll, Advantages, Delivery).

- Assignment Support

- Monitor assignment start dates, end dates, extensions, and client feedback.
- Coordinate performance reviews and gather feedback from both consultants and client managers.
- Manage redeployment efforts by collaborating with recruiters to transition consultants nearing the end of their assignments.

- Issue Resolution





- Address consultant concerns related to assignments, timekeeping, benefits, payroll, or other employment-related matters.
- Escalate critical issues to appropriate internal stakeholders for timely resolution.

- Engagement & Retention

- Lead consultant engagement initiatives such as anniversary recognitions, surveys, referral programs, and events.
- Track and report on consultant satisfaction, attrition rates, and engagement trends.

- Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure all employment documentation, client-specific requirements, and compliance protocols are properly maintained.
- Support internal audits and maintain consultant records in HRIS/ATS systems.

Qualifications:

- 4+ years of experience in consultant care, employee relations, staffing support, or HR within the IT staffing industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage a high volume of consultants while maintaining strong relationships.
- Familiarity with HR systems, ATS/CRM tools, and timekeeping platforms.
- Knowledge of employment types and work authorization categories (W2, C2C, 1099, H-1B, OPT, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience supporting IT consultants deployed to mid-to-large enterprise clients.
