Resource Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Resource Manager to manage resource planning, allocation, utilization, capacity, and workforce forecasting across projects and practices.
The Resource Manager will work closely with Project Managers, Practice Leads, Delivery Leadership, HR, Finance, and senior management to ensure the right resources are available at the right time and are aligned with business priorities.
The role requires solid analytical, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on optimizing resource utilization while balancing project requirements, employee capacity, skills, and business priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in resource management, workforce planning, PMO, project management, or delivery operations.
- Experience managing resources in a software development or IT services organization.
- Strong understanding of project delivery and software development environments.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with resource management/reporting tools.
- Experience with utilization, capacity planning, and workforce forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI, or resource management certification.
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing resources across multiple technology practices.
- Experience with project financials, P&L;, revenue, cost, and utilization.
- Experience in a matrix organization with shared resources.

Role Objective The primary objective of the Resource Manager is to ensure optimal utilization of available resources while ensuring projects have the right skills and capacity at the right time. The Resource Manager should balance customer/project demand, employee capacity, utilization, cost, skills, and future business requirements to maximize the effective use of the organization's workforce.
