Role & responsibilities

Assessment:

- Assess the effectiveness of teaching-learning and associated academic processes through structured studies drawing up experimental design, systematic data collection, data analysis and documentation.

Literature reviews:

- Review relevant literature on an ongoing basis and make periodic presentations on the emerging trends and best practices in teaching-learning.

Organizing:

- Organize and follow-up periodic review meetings and document the outcomes.

Coordination:

- Coordinate with the subjects/ study participants. Engage with faculty who undertake pilot projects. Collaborate with publishers/ institutions (ASEE, ICDE, WACE) to bring out study outcomes.

Communication:





- Document the studies and their outcomes as journal/ conference articles and communicate with them. Manage internal newsletter/magazines and/or website dedicated for teaching-learning.

Qualification and Personal Profile

- PhD in Education.

- For PhD Education experience is not a requirement.

Other Skill and Ability Requirements

- Learning theories, social science research methods, academic writing, quantitative & qualitative tools and literature review methods.

- Active listening, explicit communication, attention to details, critical thinking and objective reasoning.
