Roles & Responsibilities:

- Coordinate end-to-end release and deployment activity across application and service value chains in line with established service transition governance.
- Integrate release, deployment, change and configuration processes with wider IT service management governance and operating procedures.
- Lead operational readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings and service transition forums with project teams, suppliers and operational stakeholders.
- Define, maintain and monitor service acceptance and operational readiness criteria for new and changed services.
- Identify release risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring ownership, mitigation and resolution are established before production introduction.
- Provide accurate release, deployment and service transition reporting for management review and drive continual improvement of processes and controls.

Skills Required:





- 10 - 15 years of experience in release management, service operations, IT service management or related technology operations environments.
- Strong experience in build and release, software release management and controlled deployment processes.
- Proven capability in change management, release management and configuration management within enterprise IT environments.
- Strong service operations and service management experience, including service transition and operational readiness.
- Experience managing complex release environments, service acceptance, governance forums, risks and operational handover.

Positive to Have:

- Stakeholder management experience across project teams, technology functions, suppliers and business stakeholders.

Education:

- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred; ITIL Service Transition knowledge or certification is advantageous.
