Role Description The Relationship Officer is a full time, on-site role based in Thanjavur, responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across IndoStar’s portfolio of lending and credit solutions. Daily activities include identifying prospective customers, explaining product features and eligibility, conducting basic financial assessments, and supporting customers through the loan application and documentation process. The role involves regular follow-ups to ensure timely disbursements and repayments, addressing customer queries and concerns,



and coordinating with branch operations, credit, and collections teams for smooth service delivery.

The Relationship

Officer is also expected to achieve sales and portfolio quality targets, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and uphold IndoStar’s standards for ethical conduct and customer-centric service.

Qualifications

- Strong Business Relationship Management skills to build, maintain, and grow long-term customer and partner relationships.
- Foundational knowledge of Finance, including basic credit principles, loan products, and risk awareness in retail lending.
- Effective Communication skills for clear, respectful interaction with customers and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Customer Service orientation with the ability to handle queries, resolve issues promptly, and provide a positive overall experience.
- Sales skills to prospect, pitch suitable products, convert leads, and achieve branch-level business targets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field; prior experience in NBFCs, banks, or financial services in local markets is an advantage.
- Proficiency in local language and basic computer skills; ability to work in field-intensive roles and adapt to performance-driven environments.
