Role Description The Relationship Manager role at Magma General Insurance Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi.

The Relationship

Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, intermediaries, and corporate partners, ensuring that their general insurance needs are understood and effectively addressed. Day-to-day activities include managing client portfolios, providing product information and solutions, assisting with policy issuance and renewals, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth service delivery and issue resolution. The role also involves exploring new business opportunities, supporting sales initiatives, conducting regular follow-ups, and contributing to customer retention and satisfaction.





The Relationship

Manager is expected to work closely with local branches and regional teams to achieve growth targets while upholding regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

- Strong customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, manage client expectations, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including opportunity identification, negotiation, and closing of general insurance deals.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders such as individual customers, corporate clients, and intermediaries.
- Basic knowledge of general insurance products (motor, health, personal accident, home, fire, engineering, liability, marine) and willingness to learn product details.
- Ability to work in office in Ranchi, manage field interactions, and collaborate with branch and regional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple accounts, follow-ups, and documentation accurately.
- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and standard office software for reporting, policy tracking, and customer communication.
- Graduate degree in any discipline; a degree in business, finance, or insurance-related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a high level of professional integrity.
