Job Summary The Role: Regional People Advisor - Hyderabad and Virtual. The Regional People Advisor serves as a trusted advisor to People Leaders and employees, delivering practical and business-focused people solutions while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, company policies and employment regulations. The role balances strategic partnership with operational execution and plays a key role in fostering a high-performing, inclusive and engaged workplace culture.
The Regional People Advisor is an Individual Contributor role based in Hyderabad and reporting into the RPA Cluster Lead - Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Chennai. The incumbent is part of the India Regional People Advisory team.
The role requires extensive collaboration with People Services, Centres of Excellence, the MA team, Global People Partners and business stakeholders across functions and divisions. The incumbent will partner with Site Leadership to support site governance, workplace culture initiatives and location-specific people priorities.
The role works in a highly matrixed workplace and supports the successful implementation of enterprise people priorities while addressing business and regional needs.
Expected Role Impact: The incumbent is expected to serve as a trusted advisor to People Leaders and employees, enabling the effective execution of people priorities, programs and processes across assigned client groups. The role plays a key part in fostering a performance-driven, people-forward culture anchored on fairness, respect, accountability and inclusion, while partnering with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, simplification and innovation. By leveraging data, insights and technology, the incumbent supports informed decision-making and enhances the employee experience, while ensuring compliance with local labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with People Leaders and business stakeholders to implement enterprise people priorities and business-aligned HR solutions.
- Provide trusted advice on performance management, employee relations, policy interpretation, organisational changes and workforce matters.
- Coach People Leaders on performance, talent development, employee engagement and career development practices.
- Support employee relations matters and partner with Legal and ER teams to manage risk and ensure fair, compliant outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, statutory requirements and company policies.
- Leverage people data, insights and workforce trends to support decision-making and workforce planning.
- Drive employee engagement, inclusion and culture initiatives aligned to enterprise values and business needs.
- Support the implementation of enterprise-wide programs, organisational change initiatives and business transformation efforts.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through simplification, automation, digital solutions and AI-enabled ways of working.
Requirements
- 6+ years of progressive HR Business Partnering, HR Advisory or Human Resources experience within large, complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance requirements and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting performance management, employee relations and leadership coaching.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
- Strong analytical capability and ability to use data to support business decisions.
- Excellent communication, consulting and relationship management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complex employee situations.
- Curiosity, agility and a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on digital enablement and innovation.
- Cultural awareness and ability to operate effectively in diverse environments.
