Role Description As a React Native Intern (Unpaid) at Cemzo, you will support the development and enhancement of mobile applications that power our construction commerce platform. This internship role is remote, allowing you to collaborate with the engineering and product teams from any location while working within defined sprint cycles. Day-to-day tasks include implementing UI components in React Native, fixing bugs, writing clean and maintainable code, and assisting in integrating APIs and backend services.





You will participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, test features on multiple devices, and help optimize performance and user experience. This internship is designed to provide practical experience, mentorship, and exposure to real-world product development in a fast-moving technology setting.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of JavaScript and React or React Native, with the ability to build basic mobile UI components and screens.
- Understanding of mobile app development concepts, including state management, navigation, and API integration (REST/JSON).
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems, and comfort working in collaborative codebases.
- Basic experience with debugging, testing, and performance optimization in mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks.
- Ability to communicate clearly, work independently in a remote setting, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or course in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent self-taught experience).
- Interest in product development for B2B platforms, and curiosity about the construction or commerce technology domain is a plus.
