About The Role

Maxonic Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated React UI Engineer to join our client's energetic team on a contract basis. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative web applications that impact clinical and healthcare environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive React-based user interfaces, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and optimized for performance across various devices and browsers.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including design, engineering, human factors, QA, cybersecurity, and data analytics—you will play a key role in reimagining how data insights are shared and utilized within clinical settings. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong technical expertise, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a combination of educational background and extensive hands-on experience, including:

- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.




- At least 6 years of proven experience in designing and developing responsive React applications.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in building React component libraries used across multiple teams.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, JSX, HTML5, Sass/SCSS, and styled-components.
- Deep familiarity with modern web development tools and patterns such as Redux, bootstrap, Node.js, npm, webpack, Babel, Gulp, and react-intl.
- Expertise in building responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications, including mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Experience in writing unit tests with Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library.
- Thorough understanding of React.js core principles and workflows, including Context API and Redux.
- Experience with source control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
- Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation.
- Experience with rendering 3D models in browsers using formats like glTF and glb is a plus.
- Strong CSS skills, with experience in modern CSS3 techniques for responsive design.

- Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain scalable and reliable React-based products.
- Create optimal UI designs that adhere to architectural best practices, considering scalability, performance, and security.
- Make informed design and coding decisions prioritizing user experience and functionality.




- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Ensure all development activities comply with security and regulatory standards.
- Embed reliability engineering principles into development processes to enhance system stability.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless and innovative solutions.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently, anticipate potential blockers, and communicate delays proactively.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.
