Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent R&D; & NPD Engineer with around 5 years of experience in the wire and cable industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing recent products, optimizing existing products, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting customer technical requirements from concept to commercial production.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of wire and cable design and manufacturing.
- Good understanding of conductor, insulation, shielding, armouring, and sheath materials.
- Experience with LV, Control, Instrumentation, Fluoropolymers, Thermocouple, Automotive and Specialty Cables.
- Hands-on experience with:

- SAP ERP

- Cable BOM preparation
- Technical Data Sheet (TDS) preparation

- Product costing basics
- Technical clarification and customer support

- Engineering Change Management

- Product validation and testing




- Working knowledge of IEC, UL, BS EN, ASTM, IS, and customer specifications.
- Coordinate type tests, routine tests, and qualification tests.
- Provide technical clarifications to customers and internal departments.
- Support the Sales team during technical discussions and product selection

- Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience in R&D;/NPD within the wire and cable industry.
- Experience in cable construction design, BOM preparation, SAP master data, and TDS development.
- Ability to independently handle new product development projects.
- Familiarity with certification requirements such as UL, CE, IEC, BIS, or customer-specific approvals will be an added advantage.
- Candidates residing near Neemrana or willing to relocate will be preferred.
