Role Description The Quantity Surveyor will work full time on-site in Ahmedabad, overseeing cost-related aspects of construction projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project budgets, and ensuring accurate cost planning and forecasting. The role involves tracking and reporting project costs, verifying measurements and valuations, and supporting tender preparation and contract documentation.

The Quantity

Surveyor will collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors to control costs,



manage variations, and support timely decision-making. The position also requires regular site visits, maintaining up-to-date records, and adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to manage project budgets and possess strong Cost Control and Cost Management skills.

- Experience in preparing, analyzing, and reviewing BOQ (Bills of Quantities).

- Capability in Cost Planning to support forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.

- Proficiency in Cost Reporting, including preparing periodic financial and progress reports.

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

- Knowledge of construction contracts, estimation techniques, and local building regulations.

- Strong analytical, numerical, and MS Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with on-site and office teams.

- Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar cost-focused construction role is preferred.
