Blending cum Quality Head Liquor Industry

Job Title: Blending & Quality Head

Industry: Liquor / IMFL / Distillery

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead blending, formulation, and quality control of IMFL/liquor products.
- Develop and maintain standard blending recipes, specifications, and quality parameters.
- Monitor raw materials such as ENA, spirits, water, flavours, colours, and additives for quality compliance.
- Ensure consistency in taste, aroma, colour, strength (ABV), and overall product quality.
- Supervise laboratory testing, sampling, analysis, and release of finished products.
- Establish and maintain SOPs, quality standards, batch records, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Excise regulations, FSSAI requirements, BIS/other applicable standards,



and company quality systems.
- Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and batch failures and implement CAPA.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Procurement, Packaging, and Excise teams.
- Conduct trials for recent product development and recipe improvement.
- Manage and mentor the QC/QA and blending team.
- Ensure hygiene, GMP, safety, and good laboratory practices across blending and quality operations.
- Monitor yield, wastage, blending losses, and process efficiency.
- Support internal, customer, and regulatory quality audits.

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, or related field. Experience: Typically 1015+ years in liquor/IMFL/distillery manufacturing, with significant experience in blending and quality management.
